RecommendedFantastic experience with Anacortes Kayak Tours this past weekend! Katie was our guide for a sisters getaway and she was awesome! Very friendly and helpful! We felt safe, comfortable and enjoyed the beauty and awe of sea kayaking on our two day trip and overnight on Cypress Island. We would definitely return for another excursion!

From start to finish the level of customer service and care was exceptional, as well as the communication in planning, and talking you through what trip would fit your desires best. Our guide, Ian, at all times ensured our safety, comfort, abilities, and fed us the most delicious meals, while making it all seem effortless. AKT is a top-notch professional, but fun, place to trust your adventures and time to.
We have kayaked with AKT before, especially when we have guests up here, and have always enjoyed enjoyed the experiences. We did a short kayak trip at Deception Pass SP and again enjoyed our day in the beautiful bay.

We did the Bioluminescent 3 hour kayaking tour. It was 3 hours of paddling with plenty of time to check in, get into life jackets and instructions before that. We had Nikki and Sam as our guides. Though the info mail clearly mentioned, we somehow forgot to carry our jackets. They both went out of their way to arrange jackets for us. We would have been really chilly without those. Went chasing the sunset this evening. AKT Bioluminescence tour! I N C R E D I B L E !!! Like mermaid magic dust — sparkly, glittery lights in the salt water of the Salish Sea are marine organisms called dinoflagellates. Millions of little lights followed your moving paddle or hand in the water, or from the wake of your kayak. We paddled from Bowman Bay to Sares Head and back. Water was like glass. We recently moved to WA and have been renting different style kayaks at various locations in the greater Seattle/Western WA area. This is by far the best place! Ryan and Jacob were amazing tour guides. They were really informative about the geography, wild life, water currents, and kayaking techniques. We were able to create our own experience with our amazing guide(Ryan!). The paddling was so much fun for our group, and the food was amazing. We camped at some beautiful spots on the islands, and had some time to relax and do some hiking. We saw lots of wildlife, and beautiful sunsets. The weather was perfect and we were very well taken care of. I think we will be making this an annual event. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!
