Lied about the initial price. I spent $1,000 to fix my cat and he came back no better than when he went in. They never gave any other options just the one procedure. This place is a rip off and they are rude. Take your precious animals somewhere else.

Business response:

We appreciate your feedback, Kim, and we take your comments very seriously.. We are sorry that our services did not meet your expectations. Thank you for taking time to speak with both Dr. Lance and our Practice Manager today.

I went to Amherst Hospital for the first time on the 23rd of November 2016 because my dog Rosie was very sick. Thanks to the team there and introducing me to CareCredit I was able to get her looked at and got her on antibiotics and other medication to heal her. I want to send my gratitude to Dr. Lance, Jamie, Danielle, and everyone else that helped me and my baby. You all are truly amazing.

Business response:

Thank you for choosing us to care for Rosei!

Couldn't ask for a better vet clinic! All my pets go here and we have had to say goodbye to some of them but they always send out sympathy cards and are so caring and understanding. Even when I had my cat from Bozeman in town and we had an emergency, they took our call and took great care of her. So thankful for this vet clinic and Dr. Davis for everything!

Business response:

Thank you for choosing us to care for your 4 legged kiddos! It is always a pleasure.

I have been going there for about 8 years and absolutely love it. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Peretti and Lance are awesome. As I say alot, I wouldn't have K.C. for as long as I have if it wasn't for them and all the staff. I don't mind the commute either and know that K.C. and Trixie get the best care and so did Mischief.

I was treated rude every )time I went through the door. My dog was treated unfairly and my cat that I paid 1,000 for surgery to her leg was also. They even took the metal rod out of her leg before time because it was poking g through her skin. So she didn't get the chance to heal right. I was told my border collie was mean... he loved everyone. Never hurt a soul, never acted the least bit aggressive to anyone. Maybe it was the vet that was mean to her. I pledged to Never darken through door there ever!!!

Business response:

Hi, Jula, Can you give me a call? I cannot locate anyone in our database with your name. Being treated as you described is not acceptable and I would like to find out more about your experience. Please call and ask for the Practice Manager. Thank you.

I will be very honest, I travel and I needed to get my dog into the vet to have a tooth pulled. Amherst wanted between 115.00 and 230.00, depending on what they needed to do. I wasn't to busy, and I was in Choteau, Montana and stopped into the local vet clinic. They didn't know me, and I didn't have an appointment, but they got my puppy in and removed the baby tooth, which required to be sedated, also gave me 3 days worth of pain medicine. The price for this was only 58.00, I was totally shocked and happy that someone took t... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback Ron. We are glad Harley was able to get his tooth taken care of with sedation instead of anesthesia. Most retained baby teeth require anesthesia. Therefore our estimate included anesthesia and not sedation. Anesthesia costs more than sedation. If you have any other concerns or questions, please give us a call. Thank you!
