RecommendedVery thankful for the amazing staff at Amherst Animal Hospital. Had to take Isis in today to figure out what was going on and they were super caring as I had a very emotional reaction to overwhelming news. She is going to be scheduled for emergency spay surgery due to a severe infection. Dr. Lance walked me through it all and even gave me a hug as I was heading to check out. We have been seeing Dr. Lance for just over 9 years now and I wouldn’t want to take our girl anywhere else!

Excellent experience. My dog had major problems with his teeth and they cleaned them all up amazingly and got him back to good. He’s a very shy dog and he felt very comfortable. A+

It’s close to home and staff with caring personnel
Literally overcharged everytime I go here. They take advantage of me having to work and someone else bringing in my fur baby. And even though I authorize only his shot they go ahead even after us confirming they wouldn’t charge anything else..they run other test and tell me i have to pay it. I’m unsure why they continue to make me pay for unauthorized test. Make sure you are the one bringing your pet and stay with your pet if you don’t want over charged and the staff hanging up on you.
Really upset that we could not stay in Montana any longer due to circumstances but this was the best place i have ever been employed at. So clean and organized. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. If i could, i would bring this place back home with me so i could continue working here. Thank you, Mrs. Jodi, for welcoming me into the VCA family and even though it was a short ride i still enjoyed every single second. I will miss everyone including the sweet fur babies i got to work with everyday.
Dr. Lance is so kind and knowledgeable and always spends time explaining the care for our dogs (kids to us).
