Michael, you have a duty to help keep your communities you serve, safe. Disclosing safe locations of students is wrong. The story can still be good reporting without disclosing locations on fb, print and website. This is very bad publicity rather than the good you would want.

Ignored police warnings about posting safe zones for school during threat.
The Ames Tribune refused to delete a facebook post that included safety information that our local police department requested not be made public. After several people called to request that the post be removed the editor continued to refuse.
For doing the opposite of what the Nevada Police Department said to do.
If zero was an option thats what you would get!! Angry Nevada Parent!
