I have been with Amerigas for 25 years and have no complaints except that as an elder it is hard to do. That isn't their fault but it is my reality.
When I first transferred service over with Amerigas, they were great! I spoke with someone locally and they took care of me right away. Fast forward 2 years and they are HORRIBLE! Sometime within the last 2 years they sent all of their calls overseas to a call center in India. Good luck getting any customer service or someone who you can understand on the phone. Absolutely terrible experience with a terrible company. They billed me to fill my propane tank. The seasonal property remains sealed with the gas off and they billed me again to fill it even though there had not been any use. I called to dispute the bill because either 1) they were double charging me or 2) there was a leak in the tank. I was not able to reach anybody in North America - just an overseas call center. We were extremely low of propane and they were able to get us refilled within the scheduled timeframe. Customer service is always nice to work with
