Unacceptable cleanliness. Had to buy our own cleaning products and sheets. We stayed at the Americas Best Value Inn in Brenham, Texas, from July 23 to July 26. Our stay was terrible from the moment we arrived. Upon check-in, the hallways was dirty and our key card didn't work, so we had to be moved to a different room. As soon as we opened the door, we were hit with a horrible smell of mold, humidity, and something rotting. The floors felt sticky, as if they hadn't been washed in ages. We booked this place based on the fact that Priceline boasted that they had a pool. They do not have a pool and havent had one for 13 years, as we found out when we got there to check in. The front desk guy was really accommodating and pleasant, canceled our reservation with no penalty and told us we would have to get ahold of Priceline to finish the refund as the money goes back to them, not straight back to us.
