They DO NOT know what they are doing...I was in the Op. Dr. ****** for less than FIVE minutes...said I need to use bifocals...Would not give my measurements for my contacts so I could buy from other than them...Had me checked out and did NOT ask if I wanted to look and buy glasses...I specifically went there for that...Rude is beyond what I would say just to be nice...Absolutely do NOT WASTE TIME OR MONEY...I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS...
When I got my eyes checked at *************** I took the prescription into America's Best. They were so busy they rushed me out the door when I went to pick the glasses up. Driving at night could have gotten us all killed, I was having double vision. Took them back & the prescription was WRONG in my glasses. Nearly 2 weeks later got the "supposed" to be correct prescription. I just replaced AB glasses.the optician said they sold me glasses that didn't even get my prescription in the lens. I had difficulty seeing. Upon putting on the correct glasses I could see clearly. I wasted $600 at ab I will tell anyone who'll listen to buy elsewhere. Third rate outfit. They damaged my sight with lousy glasses, and incompetent emoloyees

I called to request my prescription over the phone at the Greenfield location. They gave me the prescription over the phone but in a format that was not understandable. I then called the Oak Creek branch to get more clarity on my prescription and was told that I cannot receive it over the phone after just getting it at another office. I was then transfered to a manager who told me that I cannot recieve this information over the phone because it is against HIPPA law, which it is, in fact, not. Total scam! No way can you purchase two pairs of glasses for the advertised amount of $79.00! The special is never offered to you at anytime during the sales process. I spent $264.00 for two pairs of glasses.These guys make their money from all the options that really are requirements if you want glasses with coating, transition lenses, polarized, all extra! Would never go back!

Dr. Kate ******* is the best person to see for an eye exam if you have eyesight disabilities and need extra time to make decisions when asked which is the better of two lens settings. Other people try to rush patients and tell them that the immediate first impression is what they need. This can result in incorrect prescriptions if there are other problems in the eyes. I was under the assumption I would be getting 2 pair of glasses for 79.99 well that is a gimmick just to get you in the store. I understand the additional cost for extra that i choose for my glasses but once you add anything to your glasses, They separate the glasses you choose and no longer get 2 pair for one money. It's a scam.
