What a sham. After a couple of years of great service, my wife recently came in and had her prescription redone and glasses ordered only to find out the staff not only misquoted her the out of pocket price but mishandled and even failed to order the lenses and frames she wanted. Called and spoke to several managers who excused the staff who mishandled my wife and said, basically, we're aware but we can't do anything about it and it's unfortunate. This has been the WORST experience I have ever had at a America's Best. The employees at this location are rude, do not follow up, do not actually place orders AFTER you have paid for a membership and LIE saying they have ordered a prescription. I paid for a contact lens exam/membership in Dec of 2019. That's right 2019!!! Here it is 4 months later and I still do not have my contacts. The staff were courteous, clean, friendly and efficient with no high pressure sales tactics! I am very pleased with my visit.
Went in for exam & glasses. Everyone was very good, i didn’t have to wait went right in at my appointment time, got examinations done. The part that stood out was getting the right glasses. Andy was very patient, knowledgeable, gave great advice & made sure to give me several options. Outstanding Customer Service.
I wish there was a ZERO star option. Where to start...I don't know what's a sadder bigger joke, our healthcare system or the "eye care" you get at "America's Best". Like a vast majority of Americans, I don't have eye insurance. So on first look, joining their "eye care club" seems like a good deal. Two emails, two phone calls, and one visit to the Tigard location, explaining you had the wrong address. And I still can't get my contact lenses delivered to my apartment! After my last exam someone handed me the wrong box of contact lenses, and I almost rear-ended someone because it affected my depth perception negatively.
