I called to get a pair of contacts and make an appointment because I used my last pair today and I am going out of town. I woke to Gerald, at the Boynton location and he told me that "it is not his problem" and will not assist me in having a back up pair of contacts until I return. I asked to speak to a manager and he informed me that he is the manager. I have been going to this location for five years and have never been treated with such disrespect.

America Best in Mayfield Heights, Ohio is a scam. After buying 2 pair of glasses when I went to pick them up one pair was not the ones I picked out. They acted as thought they did not understand supervisor included. I picked out another pair and the same thing happened again. The same response. Horrible experience somehow they take the pair you picked out and paid for and replace them with another pair. I will never go there again and will tell people how they operate. 2 days ago I showed up to my apt on time yet they helped 3 people that came in after me first, then I wait 45 minutes before I got seen for the pre exam. Apparently I had a Tele doc apt not that I had a choice but after waiting an additional 30 minutes they tell me they are having tech issues and tell me they need to reschedule me. I live 1 hr away and the on site eye doc refused to finish my exam, this is completely unacceptable to me but they are just rude and basically tell me too bad. Worst experience I've ever had at an eye Dr. It was at the Long Beach California place. The doctor wrote the prescription wrong. I had to wait 2 weeks for the other pair. The second ones were still wrong. I went in the 3rd time and the doctor wouldn't listen to me and told me to guess the letters I was supposed to see. When I told her I had no idea she read the letters to me and wrote that down as my prescription. I explained this to the office and they didn't offer any other services. Scam organization - classic bait and switch Had on online offer for two pairs glasses for $69 tried to sell me 1 pair for $288 I finally purchased 1 pair for $140 Went back for refund but had to pay the $50 for the eye exam

My father was a long time customer of theirs. He bought a pair of glasses a year ago. Since then, the nose piece fell off twice and now the arm fell off. He is not hard on his glasses. They refuse to fix or replace. Will never go back to them. I receive much better service at Walmart and Target.

On Tuesday February 9, 2021 I went to America's Best store #5483 located at 551 S Lincoln Highway New Lenox Illinois. I ordered and paid in full for glasses for myself ($200.39), son ($229.17), and daughter ($167.95). I was told the glasses will take anywhere between 12 to 14 days to come in. On Tuesday Feb. 23rd I received a message and all of the glasses that I ordered and paid for were in and available for pick up. spend extra few dollars and shop at a reliable place. on Jan 30th i visited the Mansell GA facility to get my glasses and contacts. i ordered 2 pair of glasses and paid for the services. they made me come 3 times once for the exam, one to pick up my glasses and once to pick up the trial contacts. i cannot continue to take off work and go there 4th time and requested my contacts prescription mailed to me. they refused. they **** not provide you the information unless you come back so they can continue to upsale you. even thou... read more

Long story short, their ad says "2 pairs of glasses and an exam for $69'', but after six weeks of waiting to get an appointment, and when the exam was over, they quoted me $480 to get 1 pair of readers and 1 pair with transitionÂlenses for reading a computer screen. I asked the sales person for the price for just 1 pair of their most basic glasses for reading a computer screen and was told 1 pair would only be $280. ONE pair for $280 is a far cry from TWO pairs for $69.
