AWFUL SERVICE!! DON'T BRING YOUR CAR HERE.. MIGHT AS WELL SET IT ON FIRE BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THEY DO TO YOUR VEHICLE!! Horrible customer service.. Wouldn't give me a quote on my transmission until AFTER they started work, then acted crazy when I came back and told them my car runs worse than before!! They will yell, degrade, and curse you out rather than own up to their awful work!!

Worst auto repair shop I’ve dealt with in the nearly 20 years I’ve owned vehicles. They never communicated properly with the work that they were doing, and what’s even worse, they didn’t even fix the transmission that they charged me 4k for. Their 6 month warranty for a transmission job didn’t even run for 6 hrs. Now I’m out 4k and still need to get a transmission for my truck. READ THE REVIEWS AND BE WARNED - Never, EVER bring your vehicle here. Shop has has our vehicle for over 3 days without even touching it for a repair that should have taken a day, tops. Stated it'd be a certain amount, and then after zero updates when they told us it'd be ready today, they called us back to tell us it'll be another day and shocking, more money. I’m thrilled. I’ve got a 2009 dodge ram no major problems until now , my transmission was rebuilt by American transmission on Lynnhaven Parkway, Steve was amazing and kind and very trustworthy, only had my vehicle for about 3 to 4 days, and after using my extended warranty, Car Shield , I only had to pay my deductible which is 100 bucks, you need any transmission repairs go to American transmission thank you Steve and to your mechanics great job very appreciative

I have been going here for many years. Through 3 vehicles, they have always performed well with fair prices and honored any warranty work. Being an ex mechanic, i understand all the lingo and how the work is supposed to be done. Recommended.
