We bought two sofas and recliner was told it would be ready till June 9 2021 when we called about delivery we was told it would be 9 9 2021 this is after we had waited for a month and a half for first delivery date

I purchase part of a sectional at the brookpark location, the section was in clearance for what I thought was because some one purchased the other 2 parts, I asked what was wrong with it at purchased, I was told nothing was wrong, it cost $1200 plus taxes, after I got it home I saw stitching loose and torn on the right front one arm, the service repairman had made a trip to me because when the worker brought it to the dock to be transported he dragged the very heavy couch which tore n frayed the leather under the bottom, so ... read more

A salesman’s dishonesty about the arrival of a product caused multiple calls to the store and corporate. My wife and I saw a delivery date for July but he said he’d be able to get it to us no later than two weeks after arrival of the first piece of the set. It didn’t show, we called, we stopped and talked to someone in the office and they gave us a new delivery date. That day came and went without any notifications or furniture! Went into the Value City Furniture Sandhills store on 04/16/21 for a client and chose a sofa, loveseat, recliner set. I was assisted by Kim and we agreed on the EXACT couch set that was on the showroom floor. She then gave me a quote receipt for me to give to my client and stated that the sofa and loveseat would be delivered by 04/26/21. We would have to wait for the recliner, which we agreed upon. Please do not order anything from Value City. We ordered a bedroom set in March and we have still not received it! We were told May 15th. On May 8th we were called and said it was delayed until June 15th, We just received a call today to tell us that it won't be until June 26th. I am questioning why a company that can't provide an exact date of delivery is still selling furniture that they have no way of knowing when it will actually get to the customer!
