45 minutes waiting to get screened. I give power red and had allowed 1 1/2 hours for appointment and donation. 6 people in waiting area when I arrive. Only 3 had been processed. I left and will go back when they respect people's time.

I visit every 6 weeks and always have a positive experience. Today with a reservation and fast pass I was out in about 35 minutes. This new facility is much nicer than the one in stoneridge.
I seldom write negative comment but for some reasons, each time I visited this blood drive location at 5880 W Las Positas, I have to wait at least an hour despite the fact that I’ve had an appointment and staffs are simply not busy helping other donors coz there’re only two people I can see giving blood... (yes, I’m here today and waiting again) Honestly, I really feel discouraged from donating blood because of this unfriendly wait time and I’m going to look for other blood donating service from now on.
Alert - If you are from south asia and travelled to any south asian countries in past 1 year, they wont take your blood. Spent a good 1 hr filling out all the forms and finally the nurse asked me did you travel to south asia in the last 1 year Me - yes thats my home, i keep visiting once a year Nurse - We have flagged south asian countries for Malaria so you will have to wait for 1 year when you have not travelled So just be sure to give a call before you visit and check if you can donate
