See everyone wants you to go with your "own" people but it be your own that fuck you ever time. My husband and I just bought some living room furniture from American freight furniture store in Merriville, IN. They quoted that the furniture would be delivered by 5pm...it's currently 7:12 and we have no furniture yet. The driver calls me saying, "Do you still want your furniture today?" Came in for a decent mattress. The staff was helpful and friendly. Prices are pretty good.
Rome was a HUGE help and i found pur new couch! He calculated all the costs and made sure it was in our budget and the right couch for us.
The customer service is horrible and unprofessional! I came from out town with the paperwork that I was told to bring only to have additional bs made up on the spot. Who turns down money? As far as Im concerned they are stealing from my deceased father! Im very unhappy! It only takes one unhappy customer! The Merrillville location is dirty dusty and nasty and should not even be an operating business!
Furniture is absolute garbage, starts falling apart in 1 year,not to mention several safety issues( staples sticking out , bare, unpacked wood pushing into your lower back and thighs sitting), and warranty was a scam, every excuse not to cover it...
Did not receive delivery till the day after I was scheduled for..guy expected me to sign and pay for delivery without bringing my furniture in ..finally convinced him to bring it in and it was the wrong color...won't recommend..and won't shop again...when I went back to pick up the furniture this time within the hour I was in there..I could here numerous complaints conversation between the managers and staff...and a lady also had to come in and pick up screws the delivery crew did not provide...bad bad business
Ryan was helpful with our selection of our new mattress in store. Even have a reasonable layaway program.
The guys here are very nice and helpful. I like how you can put things on layaway with them.
