We stayed in a larger cabin over the 4th of July holiday for a few days. The cabin was lovely but the water from the sinks had a very bad egg smell. We mentioned it to the front desk who were always friendly but nothing else was done about it..so we just used bottle water for drinking..brushing our teeth and washing our sons babies bottles.. Very nice campground, tucked away at the of quiet street. The premium sites are a real upgrade (might want to make sure the site they assign you has hook ups on correct side for your RV otherwise you will have to go around your vehicle to get to the patio set, firepit or place and charcoal grill. They were able to switch the next day).

Nice place. Great bathroom facilities. Nice pool. Free mini-golf. For a little extra you can climb a rock wall and do the Hippo slide. Some tent camping. Front section has more shade than the back. Easy access off Interstate 64, so it is a quick trip to Williamsburg and Bush Gardens. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is appealing to the ear with all this talk of amenities. When you see it you will understand the pool works that is about all you get the game room consist of a pool table and 3 more games that work and 3 others that don't work out of order signs on them. A laundry room with empty vending machines. A conference room full of cob webs and a musty smell. Ancient out of date books and one board game. They want to charge me $30 a day to visit with my mom from Florida. Please stay somewhere else this place is not worth ... read more
