Not very friendly, at check in I inquired about firewood and was told in a harsh voice, " I'll bring it to you" after setting up our camper we had to be at William and Mary college for my wife's daughters track meet and returned to our site around 8 pm the office was closed and no firewood on our site. We left and went to KOA a couple of miles away and got a beautiful site for same cost.

If you are looking for entertainment and a snack bar, don't stay here. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is your place. Bath house is nice. Pool is not huge but big enough. Mini golf is something to do but not elaborate. One section has a lot of old growth trees. All sites have concrete pads, premium sites have a brick patio with table, chairs and umbrella. Didn't really get a chance to explore but everything thing seemed very well kept and the campsites were very nice and roomy.
Nice. Seemed very clean. Bathhouse was ok. Gravelly sand wasn't great in the rainy weather & wifi was terrible, but overall it was nice.
Stayed in the large cabins for a week. Very clean and plenty of space for a family of 4. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Centrally located to the beach and historic sites. Kids loved the pool and slide!
We really enjoy this place. Lots of updates and improvements. Need to work on outdoor electric boxes. Ours nor our neighbors worked. Had to use RV power and cooking using more than one appliance (toaster and griddle) kept tripping the flow.
