If I could give no stars I would. Lied to me and said I would be making monthly payments. They charge me every 2 weeks what they told me monthly. Delivery driver charged me more than i was quoted and they just dumped all the furniture off in boxes on top of each other in the middle of my living room floor where my son whos in a wheelchair and paralyzed couldnt get through. Couch and loveseat were both broken in less than 2 weeks. I want to return it. Told no.

I went to this location 01/23/22. My dad and I walked in picked out a fridge after looking at a few on the floor that they had. Most had a good bit of scratches and dents. We found one in near PERFECT condition. We proceed to the front. Mind you there is no visible signage that states the customer is responsible for loading the items to take home OR did I see that all sales are final NOT EVEN WHILE THE GUY WAS TAKING MY PAYMENT (HE WAS TOO BUSY TALKING ABOUT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY). We are sorry there was confusion. The sales policy is displayed at check out and on all receipts. The Region Manager was present in the store when this incident occurred. In spite of the item being dropped, he offered to exchange it. The customer reselected and chose to have that one picked up and is in possession of the new item.
Stay away from this company! I bought a refrigerator from them and it didn't get cold enough. I thought it needed more time so I gave it a few more days. On the fifth day after purchase, I called and asked if I could return it. They said no, all sales are final and that I needed to call the manufacturer for a warranty repair. Ordered a brand new side by side refrigerator and when it was delivered, the delivery drivers said they do not remove door or doors from the new purchase item. When they brought it in the house the hit it against the door and door frame. When I got home from work, I went to hook it up and noticed a large dent in the back of the refrigerator, and a large dent on the top. Called to complain and have new one delivered. I thought they had excellent products, prices, and delivery. I was quite impressed by service. It was painless and easy to use as a furniture store. Get in and get out. I was impressed. The other stores in the city were to expensive and didnt have what I was looking for. Okay happy with this store

We purchased a sofa and loveseat in July. We had to pay a delivery fee. The loveseat broke within the first 2 months. In September, we got a letter stating we could get a replacement under warranty from American Freight. We immediately called the store and were told it was on backorder. But we would be contacted when it was back in stock. We kept checking the website which clearly said they were in stock in Metairie, but the sales staff said it was unavailable. I purchased a matress and 2 days later when it was supposed to be delivered they called and said they had to cancel and schedule delivery for 5 days later...so I told them I'd be there to get it myself with a truck...so I get there and they refunded my delivery fee...and they said they would be right out side to bring matress out...so while waiting outside for 15 minutes they came out and had me come back in and they told me they sold it out from under me after I already had paid **** for it...so I told them to forget it I'd... read more

Highly upset over the warranty we bought. Here we are not even 2 years in and our couch and loveseat is completely falling apart (couch more so than loveseat). We were told by the salesman that everything would be covered (except for animal damage) no questions asked and it would be REPLACED! We were NEVER told our warranty would be transferred to someone else after a year. We were never even given any information about our warranty except for word of mouth from the salesman.
