Purchased a refrigerator that was immediately defective - the door shelves do not stay on, the main shelves are bowed, and the door hardware is defective so that the door opening can't be reversed as designed. Additionally, we purchased an extended warranty, but they refuse to give us any paperwork (terms & conditions, how to file a claim, etc.) on it. They refused to do a refund, so we had to file a chargeback.

Went to go buy a twin size mattress set for $118 and a bed frame for $32.99, when we got to the register the total was $185. ($151 before tax) Sales tax is 7% - even quoted by the "manager" named George. 7% of $151 is only $11.57 (total after tax should have been $161.57) When my husband noticed that was incorrect he brought it to the employees attention and he became irritated and then offered $10 off, which is still above the sales tax that he quoted. Absolutely HORRID experience!! Selected mattress set online, printed out page and took it to the local store (Boardman, Ohio). It was out of stock, but salesclerk Garrett said we can order. I asked about payment... do you need something down? He SHOULD have told me that I needed to pay in full that day, but NO... he says whatever you want, so okay, I put 100 down with the understanding that I would pay the balance when it comes in. If I could do 0 I would. We bought a range from them on Saturday, and said we are picking up on Monday. We bought an extended warranty as it had cosmetic damage, which the sales clerk told us the warranty company would fix for us. We came home and read the exclusions on line, which said cosmetic problems are not covered, unless they affect the working of the appliance. Strike 1 on them. It's been over a week and we have made multiple calls and spoke to Jeff the manager and still furniture order not close to being complete. Also part of the sectional we have, the armrest is broke and not stuffed with material. Jeff will not return my calls at this point. They have our money, over $4,000 and we do not have our furniture. Will file a claim in court at this time is our only option.

I purchased a chest freezer (showed in stock) from one of their locations out of state from mine because these are so hard to find. I received an email the next day telling me that the freezer was not in stock. I guess it sold overnight? Anyway, they charged my credit card the full price, I received a credit, all is well. Then I get a message from the credit card company telling me that someone must have got my card number and was using it to make Amazon purchases. At least 4 purchases in one day. I went into American Freight today to purchase a Pillowtop King Mattress and I was greeted by TY Who helped me find the perfect Matress. I am very well pleased with the service I received from TY. His demonstration of the Mattress Topper sold me also. So purchased both King Pillowtop Mattress and Matress Cover. And I am Satisfied.

I was half assed greeting when I walked in, noticed every employee on their phone including the manager. Browsed the store for about 10 min and still no proper greeting or genuine interest on what we were looking for. I had to walk to the front counter and ask for a manager( found out she was the one at the counter watching Netflix) and she still didn’t bother to ask us anything!
