Nashville's Best Fence Company!! – I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. I wanted to fence in about an acre of my property for my dogs, and for those that I foster. I wanted something functional (so little ones can't get out...), but pretty, and in-keeping with my neighborhood, which is mostly horse ranches. Excellent Service and Value – We needed pool fencing in a hurry, due to insurance requirements. We also wanted a custom finish aluminum fence and larger than standard gate sizes. The project was handled on time and in a professional manner. Very pleased.

Horrible and Rude – How bad was American fence? They cut our sprinkler line, they cut our cable in two places (which not only affected our cable but two neighbors), they trashed our yard, they damaged several flowers in our flower bed, they left piles of dirt around all the fence posts. They cut our sprinkler and cable AFTER everything had been marked on the grass. IDIOTS. They never told us about any of this until we discovered it ourselves. When we called them, they blamed us. Awesome Performance – I can not speak for prior years, but I can speak for July 2007. I purchased a home in LaVergne in June and contacted American Fence to obtain a quote. Dan responded via phone the same day and in person in less than 48 hours later to measure the lot and give me a written quote. Less than 2 weeks later his crew arrived. They dug holes, drilled through rock and set 30 (est) posts in less than 4 hours. Bad Treatment – Slow, Bad and Rude, I am telling ALL of my friends never to use this company in any way. Slow is right, it took them over a month. They also cut into underground water and electric, then immediately started harrasing us and threating us (not to mention name calling) for payment when they ALREADY HAD our credit card info. My advice is to save yourself from our problems and "run the other way people of Central Tennessee!"

Can they be any slower? – The actual time it took to construct our fence was way too long. They came and dug the holes. 2 days later they came and put 3/4 of the posts in concrete to set for a couple of days. (Why they didn't do all of them, I don't know.) They came back and constructed about 1/2 of the fence and set the rest of the posts in concrete. They said they would be back the next day to finish, but never came, even though it was sunny.
