A teacher's union that stands with Planned Parenthood?? I guess being for the children goes only so far.
Your endorsement of Hillary means nothing other than a bigger signal to rank and file that you really don't care about your teachers. I can't think of ONE teacher in my world who would cast a vote for Hillary right now. Go ahead and endorse all you want. She will not be served up the teacher bloc.
I too must share others' disappointment with the premature and myopic endorsement of Hillary Clinton for president. Her stances on public education are not progressive enough for today's needs. I understand she is "safer" to endorse than the others; however, Senator Bernie Sanders would have been a far more intelligent and emboldening choice. Just look at his education platform and his unfailing, consistent support of unionization.
