What are you thinking AFT? I can't believe your endorsement of Hilary. Her labor and education positions ARE NOT pro teacher, student, union or public school. I've lost all respect. Shame!

Although I support your organization as a union, I do not support your decision to choose sides this early in the Democratic race. The ties between Clinton and Weingarten run too deep to have an unbiased look at the primary nomination. I hope the NEA looks at the real issues facing this country, waits for the debates, and actually picks to endorse a candidate that will make a conscious effort to help the students of this country. #Bernie2016
AFT Endorsing Hillary Clinton, when Hillary's allies like Rahm Emanuel are famous for being anti-teacher (in his case alone, closing almost 50 schools in Chicago, and fighting the Chicago Teachers Union during a weeklong strike)? With friends like the AFT, teachers don't need enemies.
How can you endorse a candidate without asking all of your members???? And why endorse so early in the race??? Based on the comments I see most of your members DO NOT agree with your choice!!!! After this completely undemocratic process to endorse Hillary Clinton for president, it is clear that the leadership of the AFT does not have the interests of teachers at heart. What a sad day for American Union history.
Your endorsement of Clinton is almost a war crime.
Hypocrites. This is shameful. Hillary Clinton has a history of supporting anti teacher legislation and is weak at best at supporting unions. In spite of this, you sell out those you represent rather than support Bernie Sanders, a life long supporter of fair education and strong unions. Shame.
