I only attend pool classes and I love them.Karen and Cathy really make these classes fun and inspire us to work hard They are very flexible and encourage us to make suggestions to incorporate into the class
At first we loved AmFam but we are quickly falling out of love. Equipment was removed several months ago saying that new equipment would be replaced but nothing. Now there is this new fusion class but all we ever see is 2 people of any doing random nonsense in the room. Thanks for getting rid of a substantial footprint of the gym for something we are not interested in. I am one of AFF's original members here (since 2007) and am in this gym 5 days a week. Like the post above, I didnt receive any notification on these "changes" either. This post notes JULY was when equipment was removed, it is now OCTOBER, and new equipment still isn't in house! We all pay monthly for a well stocked gym and this is not the case right now. This is no way to treat your regulars!

I LOVE Amfam yoga (mostly Elsa)! the only thing I would change is closing the slide during water aerobic class. it really makes no sense. I was told that it is hard for the class to hear the instructor, but scientifically this doesn't make sense. the same amount of people are there and talking weather the slide is open or closed. the instructor also has a mic and I can hear her all the way in the back so it feels more like someone had a bad idea and no one told them no. open the slide!
Great Facility! Came in from out of town when we got evacuated from OBX and the staff was so accommodating to me and my family of 4! We worked out and our kids got to swim in the pool with the water slides! 24 hours a day made it fun to come swimming in the middle of the night and make memories even though we had to leave the beach! The smoothies were on point too! High recommend for any one, fitness oriented or just a fun place to come and relax!
