I had a damage in my basement and I needed to get a fix. I found American Electrician online I gave them a call and they sent Mr. Shawn Smith who is a great person excellent worker, and he did a great job, they even have the best price in the market, no doubt about it. We contacted American Electrician to replace a GFI, and check a few fixtures. Shawn Smith came out to our home and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to go through everything thoroughly, and explained it all to us. He made some great recommendations which we will definitely follow thorough on. Most stuff around my house that breaks I'm usually willing to try and fix myself, unless it's an electrical problem. It would be a very bad idea to try and fix something like that without a professional. So when my breaker switches weren't staying in the on position, causing my stove and dryer not to work, I called American Electrician. Don Irons has done an excellent job both times we've called on him for electric work. The first time, he re-wired our entire house. Big job, and his team worked like a symphony. Second time, they installed electric in a new workshop. He and his team were wonderful to work with, they enjoy the work they're doing and enjoy working with each other. Had a great experience. Found American Electrician on google and was able to set up an appointment within 24-hours. Don arrived on time, was knowledgeable, professional, and even nice to my dogs! He did a great job and was a pleasure to work with. Don took great care with my chandeliers and I am very happy with the work. I would highly recommend them.

Way over priced and amateur. They installed some outlets and switches on new construction only the framing was done. They installed all outlets flush with the studs so they are all recessed by 1/2 inch. I had to purchase my own outlet covers. The fix was Ryan wood put in longer screws so only my outlet covers are holding them in place. I cannot even plug in two small space hearers without tripping the breaker. They installed 7 four plex outlets! Why can I only plug in two things! I asked Ryan and he told me they would be too... read more
