An energy audit firm recommended its contractor sweep my chimney. I chose instead American C & M based on their high ratings. The appointment was to sweep--and only charged a minimal inspection fee since my chimney did not need cleaning. Months later they repaired cracked masonry and while here inspected the chimney to discover the mortar had crumbled (after 60 years), supplying close-up pictures taken while on the roof to show the problems. Call These Folks for Chimney Work – I had American Chimney & Masonry remove my chimney, from roof to basement - a "full chimneyectomy". Beau & Jason were great: did a very dirty job with as little residual mess as humanly possible. Great guys - fun attitude.
