Mike came out to evaluate an existing ventless ceramic-log gas fireplace system that was installed before we purchased our home and that we have never used. While here, he discovered that the pipe sending gas to the system was leaking and he returned later that same day to cut off the pipe and cap it to stop the leak.Member Comments: Mike was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and punctual. I called American Chimney & Fireplace to get an estimate to convert my wood burning fireplace to gas logs. They called me back right away and came an gave me a free estimate. The gentleman that came ( Mike ) was polite, on time and very knowledgeable. Mike came me several options of what I could do with my fireplace. I received a written estimate within several days. I am nice and warm thanks to American Chimney & Fireplace. I placed a call to ACF and Mike came out and gave me several options of what I could & could not do. Mike was very professional and knew what he was talking about. I then received a written proposal which was alot less than I thought in would be. Mike & is crew came to the work. I called American Chimney & Fireplace, and told them that I was interested in getting a fireplace put in my gameroom. They came out to my house, looked at the room I wanted the fireplace put in and gave some suggestions and recommendations. They gave me a competitive bid, which I had gotten several others.
