Horrible to work with. I have spent hours on the phone over a 4 month period and issues are still not resolved. Each rep tells me something different and assures me it is all correct and then it isn't. Even after additional research things still not fixed. Would not recommend and wish we could move to another company. Have worked with quite a few mortgage companies over the years and never had trouble like this.
I became an AmeriHome customer not by choice. My mortgage loan was purchased by Freddie Mac and sold to AmeriHome. I have only been with them for two months. My mortgage came with with a flood insurance contingency and they claimed I had none when I actually did. Hence the contingency. I received a letter in the mail that I had 46 days to get insurance.
