Deklynd is amazing! – I've been going to Deklynd for five years and I have never had less than a fabulous haircut and color. He knows that I hate spending a lot of time on my hair and he knows how to style it so that it is practical and looks great for my professional job at the same time. He is a master at color and making my highlights look natural. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

The Best! – I find it sad to read some of the recent reviews about Ava and her team at Amaz for Hair. I have been going to Ava for 7 years. My daughter also goes there and not once have we had anything but an amazing experience. A hair dresser recently left Amaz and he was clearly bitter about leaving. Instead of leaving professionally he has decided to launch some sort of juvenile smear campaign against a women whose experience far exceeds what he has yet to learn. not angry at all – I have never experienced anything close to rude at Amaz. If I were a stylist that wanted to keep my clientel, I would send them a postcard or e-mail to let them know I was moving. In fact I have had stylists do just that for me. I think it is rude not to do that for your customers...unless you would rather lose that particular customer. Don't blame the salon for this. five-star Ava – Ava Hastey knows hair. She has an artist's eye, and creates each cut to suit the individual. This became obvious to me during a salon party attended by many of her clients. Each woman had a completely different cut....and everyone looked chic and fantastic. BEST COLORIST IN TOWN!!! – Deklynd Channing is AWESOME!!! I've been in Austin now for four years and have gone to many colorists in search of "the perfect blonde." I've brought in pictures and descibed in detail exactly what I want, and have never left happy. . . UNTIL NOW!!! Beyond Exceptional! – I LOVE my Hair! Endless thanks to BRENDA! I know now that hair is truly an art and Brenda is exceptionally talented. I had an unfortunate experience from two different salons; the first leaving me with literally orange hair and two attempts to correct and the other salon attempting the correction with no success. Best Color – I have been seeing Decklynd for almost 2 years. I actually fly from San Francisco for him to do my color and cut. I get so many compliments from people in the Bay Area who want the number of my stylist, and are disappointed when I tell them my stylist is in Austin. Best Haircut Ever !!! – I have very thin fine hair and numerous stylists have said that my hair is very hard to cut and get the look I want. Brenda proved them wrong! I got exactly what I was looking for and received no excuses about the difficulty of my hair type. I would recommend Brenda to anyone including my mother. She and I have the same hair type and she is looking forward to visiting Brenda for a haircut soon. I am sure she will be thrilled with the result.
