We are moving to the Boise area from California so we are looking for gluten free places to eat at and to enjoy goodies. We stopped at Amaru on our last trip and purchased some gluten free and gluten free vegan cupcakes. I have to say, they were amazing. You could not tell they were gluten free and the vegan eggless. My daughter and I both do baking. I don't usually eat sweets and when I make something, I just taste it to makes sure it taste okay but I couldn't put the cupcake down. I ate the whole huge thing! Thanks Amaru!
For years, I've considered Amaru the best bakery in the treasure valley. Recently, on New Year's Eve, I used Amaru for my wedding. I feel our money was well spent! This business will forever hold a special place in my heart and I would recommend them to anyone with high expectations for design, taste, and quality!
Amaru did a wedding cake and mini cupcakes for our daughter's wedding reception. It was all fantastic! Everyone loved the cupcake flavors. We just took the cake decorating class and had a fun time. Certainly gave me a greater appreciation for the art of decorating. Tonight we cut into our pretty cake and it was delicious. Amaru is just wonderful.
I got mini cupcakes for my baby shower and they were awesome. I plan on getting the cake for my sons first birthday from here. :)
