Dr. Swingley has provided numerous colonoscopys and is caring and comforting as she educates me on her findings. She is my go to person for gut health. Today, I look forward to seeing her to find about improving my swallowing. She never has me do unnecessary tests, but always takes time with me to ask and answer questions. I am grateful to have found Dr. Swingley and highly recommend other family and friends to her regularly.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Swingley for a number of years and she always takes the time to address all of my concerns . Goes over my chart, meds, and discusses any adjustments which might be beneficial.

I felt Dr. Swingley was knowledgeable and offered information regarding my issues. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy and endoscopy.

I had a negative experience with Dr. Swingley, during my first colonoscopy. Not only did I wake up during the middle of it - (not great) her attitude was totally cavalier. She said, "Well, you're going to feel it here at the end!" But the really disturbing thing was that, when I was wheeled out to my waiting husband ( I was wide awake), she said literally one sentence to me, with NO detail: "You have a fold - come back in five years." Zero explanation of what a "fold" is. Found out when my OB-GYN noticed it in my records and... read more

I was referred to Dr. Swingley by my PCP because of elevated liver enzymes. She recommended full blood work and an abdominal ultrasound. I indicated I would wait to have the ultrasound until after the lab results were in as it may not be necessary. She stressed I should have the ultrasound, which I did. The lab work came back normal, ultrasound came back fine, but then she recommended an MRI. I told her an MRI was an unnecessary expense along with the ultrasound! I will not be returning!

I had a colonoscopy and during, my spleen was hit. When I woke up in the hospital, I was literally begging for help from the pain and was sent home and told it was "gas pain". I ended up in the ICU for 4 days with severe internal bleeding and all Dr. Swingley could say was "that's odd, that's never happened before". I have contacted malpractice lawyers, needless to say. Do NOT USE HER.

I was a patient of hers 3 or more years ago. I just find out today that I was sent to collections for an unpaid bill. I have received NOTHING from her or her office saying I had an unpaid bill. This doesn't make any sense.

I just had a colonoscopy with Dr. Swingley this morning. I was led to believe I would be completely sedated. They used a Fentanyl solution which didn't do the job. I felt the whole, painful procedure and it was excruciating! I'm not happy about that.
