I don't even give them 1 star. Over the summer my daughter was serverely sick and we couldn't figure out why and instead of doing blood work like her Dr had said the said she had a viral infection and sent us home. Did absolutely nothing for her!!!!
It's AMH.. What did you expect ?? Waited for hours and I was hurt much worse than all of the people ahead of me. Should have went to St. Anthony's..
The BEST job I've ever had! Everyone pulls together for a common goal, there isn't an obvious pecking order because everyone will jump in and help each other out! It's small enough to where you know who works on each floor and what the needs are!! I've worked at 3 hospitals and by far, no comparison this is the best of the best!
The only reason I give two stars is because they, at the very least, admitted me and did a scan. I will, however, never return if I need anything more than a bandaid. Presenting with severe abdominal pain earned me a trip into the ER but I was treated like I was faking it. When they released me, still doubled over in pain, I had to go somewhere else to receive the emergency hernia surgery that was necessary to help me. Here's a tip. Don't get sick over a weekend in Alton.
