RecommendedI have worked at the Altenheim for 4 years and every time I come to work I’m always greeted with a smile which makes working here enjoyable. We have a great management team which primarily focuses on making sure our residents are accommodated and they’re always put first. I would definitely recommend my family to this place.

Better management and start taking care of you long term employees.
Assisted living was great, but long term care was horrible. My Mom didn’t last 3 months there. No respect for the elderly. Disgusting!!
It’s a wonderful place to live and work. I put 39 years of my life working here and I have no regrets.
My father was a resident at the Altenheim before it was owned by CarDon so I can only speak to that timeframe (2006-2008) I would say at first we had a few minor bumps in the road until they knew what our firm expectations were. My mother was there daily and so was I. You have to be present just as you would be at home. We were treated with utmost respect during the days right before my fathers passing and all the nurses, CNA’s and the chaplain were amazing. Ive worked at the Altenheim for 2 years and it is by far the BEST facility I've ever worked. The staff really care about the residents they care for and it shows in the work they do. It is a good atmosphere to work in. All my coworkers are a pleasure to work with!
