My encounter with Dr. Mordechai Pavlovsky was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a medical doctor. He was uncaring, disconnected and never involved me in any patient care. He ordered an xray for me but never came back to speak with me about my xray, he never came back period. I told the nurse I was in pain and asked for a prescription until I could get to my doctor of ibuprofen and he told her to tell me no although it was recommended that I take ibuprofen. Alta Bates has incredible staff, doctors, and therapists. Everyone took a true interest in our family member and displayed a passion/dedication for their job that you don't consistently see elsewhere.
I dont know if i will ever forget my hospitalization at this hospital but i pray that i do, my heart aches at each memory, these people are heartless. dont be fooled by the buildings, i pray that the Lord will help me forgive each person that ill treated me. taking one day at a time.
I went in today while here on business. I found the entire staff to be excellent! I was treated and diagnosed by Dr. Andrew Osugi, not only very knowledgeable but also possesses an A+ bedside manner. I've seen many Dr's in the last few years and he definitely surpasses many! What an amazing team here in Oakland! Thank you!
"Need assist with bathroom use"...if they ever come to help her.!!! My mom ask for help..first two times they don't want to answer and just hang up the calls... when I ask if she could get some help to go to the bathroom, nurse came finally. ...but nurse said she can't help but wait for the nurse assistance (she was eating her meal that time and did not come ..) about 40 minutes later...she had to hold to go to bathroom! !! OMG again. WHAT ASSISIT WITH BATHROOM USE why do they even write that down on the board...for whom? ??... read more
