huge portions, average food – The portions are huge, worth the trip just to see the size of these steaks. Everything terrific except the steaks... the focus is on the size, not the taste. Best kabobs ever! Their whipped potatos are to die for! Drinks are very expensive.
Best steaks anywhere, huge portions, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. – Well I went here with a group of friends and family for dinner. The wait was not too long (7pm on a Friday) and we had a great table put together for us (14 people). The food was excellent and by far were served the biggest steaks I've ever seen. Everything came with the dinner from soup or salad, bread, potato, and veggies! They just gained a customer(s) for life.
huge portions, large selection, great atmosphere – Have been eating here for years without any complaints!! The portions are huge and the selection is pretty good. The blackbean soup is teriffic as well as the pumpernickel bread served w/sugarbutter!!! YUM!!! The prices are a bit steep, however, you will be going home with leftovers, possibly a second meal, so it's worth it. Go early on Fri or Sat nights to avoid a wait. Also great for kids and large parties due to oversized tables.
Great Steak – The service I had was pretty good. No complaints. The steaks are huge, and are cooked perfectly. My only issue is the price. They are a little high for this type of establishment. Give it a try, but if you want an even better steak for a similar price, you might as well go to a big name joint.
Great food - Poorest attitude of all staff I have ever seen---walked out without eating (but had to pay) – Great food - But the poorest attitudes I have ever seen. The manager had the worst. I walked out paying without eating more than two bites. Highly recommend you avoid if you want a pleasurable dining experience (unless your getting take-out)
why i like al's steak house – the meat is very good nice salad and the best carrots around the size of the steaks are unbleviable huge steaks they have one there that is 3 1/2 pounds of beef always need a doggy bag from there
