Same as other appraisal review, company uses subcontractors (appraisals by Michael). Literally somehow came up with an appraisal 150k less than the same house that closed across the street 7 months ago. Even though new home is larger, bigger lot, drastically nicer upgrades, completely finished basement, and a pool. None of the information I supplied was used in the process....and 30 minutes late.....
Terrible experience. I scheduled an appraisal with Alpharetta Home Appraisal but received an appraisal from Appraisals by Michael. Both have a completely different address, phone, website, email, reviews. When I inquired, I was told they were parent company. I do not see that noted anywhere on their website. Tech late. Appraisal not accurate based on comps Michael used. We had a mini horse farm and comps were not similar to that type of property. Two comps were 10mo old.
