STAY AWAY!!! Lousy tooth work and dishonesty found here! (Pleasant Grove and Saratoga Springs offices specifically) I'm losing money by being honest here so I'd read this (They tried to pay me off but we'll get to that in a min). I wasn't even going to write a review on their botched up teeth work until the scam they tried to pull. Here's my story and there are plenty of witnesses and documents as proof. (skip to line !!!! for the dishonesty that occurred more recently) I was having some major tooth pain and am new to Utah so I hopped on board to this Alpenglow Dental promotion of new patients getting a gift card. I had to even fight for that as the timing and insurance didn't line up the way they wanted (false advertising). The promotion said nothing about that. Finally we resolved it and they did the dire needed root canal on the back tooth. It worried me when they had rushed it near the end since they were behind. It scared me a bit so I never forgot that. They said there'd be pain for a bit and prescribed some pills. About a year later, it was still hurting so I went back and they took x-rays and such. They said nothing was wrong and gave me more pain pills and antibiotics. Another year goes by and I go to see a different dentist. They were shocked that there was a huge infection there and the root canal hadn't been done properly. I had to schedule in with a specialist and now its costing me about a grand to fix! (I still have another appt with the new dentist to fill in the crown). With two years of really intense tooth pain and another grand out of pocket, I asked for a refund. They agreed for the hundred dollars that was left over after the insurance (still wondering if I should call the insurance), if proof was sent. I sent the proof and they had me come in. I drove to the office, but it wasn't there anymore. They didn't bother to tell me they moved. Then I went all the way out to Saratogo Springs where I never go out to and asked for my refund as agreed. !!!!!!!!! Instead they gave me a contract saying I'd only get the refund if I swore to secrecy about the work and alpenglow dental. I wasn't suppose to say anything related to the tooth, business or the work. This blackmail shocked me. I wasn't going to leave a terrible review or even a review at all before this, but I wasn't going to be dishonest to people about it. The contract was ridiculous and they claimed it to be their policy. If your policy is bad work and dishonesty, I'm never coming back and will warn all to stay away to not have to deal with the same thing I did. If they don't want to give me the refund they owe me I can just sue for malpractice which had clearly occurred. I haven't decided whether they are worth the time, but they sure aren't worth yours. Stay away!!!
