I ported (transitioned) to Alliance after being referred by another agency because I had a medical placement pending and not all agencies are approved for medical placements, which are Intensive Services Foster Care. Alliance Human Services is truly top-tier when it comes to foster family agencies. My journey with them started as a social worker in 2014, and their amazing team inspired me to become a foster parent. Since then, I’ve fostered 17 babies and adopted 2 through their program. While the child welfare system has its flaws, Alliance made navigating interactions with DCFS much more manageable. We have been with Alliance for 6 years now and they have always been so supportive and helpful with anything we have ever needed. They helped us start our family with the adoption of our son. We look forward to spending many more years as part of the AHS family. Everyone at the Torrance office is so amazing we are beyond blessed to work with them on this journey.
