I have eaten there now half dozen times. All for breakfast. Food is exceptionally good and has been consistent every time. I have not tried anything on there lunch menu which I plan to try next. I defiantly would suggest trying it if you have not.
Went there for lunch, good vibes & good food + street parking isn't bad for lunch.

Just left this place. After finishing and paying for the meal, the OWNER came to the table and started making comments about wanting us to leave. It happened so much that it became harassing and I calmly asked him if there was a problem. He said it was busy and they needed the table (although there were empty tables in the restaurant). Dynamite Chicken Fried Steak. Cool venue for live music. Waitstaff worked hard as they were understaffed a bit.
I only had pie and coffee here, but I have to say, this place has ruined me for any other pie. The strawberry rubarb was not too sweet, and not too tart, and served with a generous dollop of ice cream. The coffee was freshly brewed--good diner-type coffee, not that burned-tasting stuff the mermaid serves up.
