I was referred to this doctor by my eye doctor about 7 years ago. He failed to diagnose and treat my eye condition. I suffered vision loss because of it. I would get a second opinion when dealing with this doctor.
When it comes to medical care for your eyes, the choice of a doctor is critically important. For that reason I believe that you can't select a better doctor than Allen C. Ho. Dr. Ho is one of the most respected specialists in treatment of problems with the retina, and deservedly so. Hi is also a "nice guy". and his support staff is competent, thorough and friendly. I could not be more satisfied.
Dr Ho is not only a consummate professional, but he is a caring physician as well. He has taken care of my retinal problems and currently treats my husband for Macular Degeneration. We are extremely pleased with Dr. Ho as well as his caring and friendly staff!
Excellent bedside manner. I had retinal occlusion, had eye injections 2years. Highly recommend this doctor. He also did laser in my eye. He is the best around. You won't be sorry. Wish I could go back. No pain at all.

i have seen Dr Ho now for three visits and for the first time in 3 years Dr.Ho has given me hope. he changed my medication and I believe I am seeing an improvement. He has helped my 90 year old Aunt keep her vision for the last 12 years. We faithfully go to the Mid Atlantic Retina at Wills Eye in center city Philadelphia every 6 to 8 weeks. She is a great judge of her vision. Dr. Ho has worked with her on the time frame that when the vision slips we make our appointment, hence every 6 to 8 weeks. With out Dr. Ho vision would not be possible. We are greatfull for all he has done.
Dr. Ho is very thorough and professional. He explains the problem,correction procedure and expected results in plain English to assure the patient understands precisely what to expect. I would recommend Dr. Ho to anyone requiring Retina surgery.
