A friend of mine's daughter has been painfully suffering in your hospital for 7 weeks, with inadequate treatment for sickle cell. Sickle cell deserves the same attention, research and care that cancer receives. You have a wonderful young lady there who is truly suffering from Sickle cell disease at your hospital for the past 7 weeks. She is not being treated correctly. Her parents are at their wits end. They are not being listened to. They need help for their child. Maybe contact Dr. Joshua Field at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin and consult with him on how to treat Sickle cell patients correctly and with compassion. He's a specialist.
