Just an absolutely amazing experience.
Legitimately the best meal I’ve ever eaten in 37 years. And that says a lot, because 1. I’m a Jew (read: difficult to please) 2. I have food allergies and 3. I eat out frequently at higher end restaurants. I don’t give out a 5 Star review lightly.
I never had a more mind blowing culinary experience in my life!! Each coarse was more amazing than the last and every last detail was perfect. The knowledge of the staff was out of this world, and if you have a chance to eat there you need to do it!!!

We have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants in the US and abroad. Alinea is in a different league altogether. The food, the staff, the setting and the EXPERIENCE are off the chart. If you've ever eaten in a high end restaurant and the staff somehow made you feel like they were doing you a favor by letting you in the front door: Alinea staff project the exact opposite of that attitude: Welcoming, knowledgeable, personable, always there when you need them yet never cloying or intrusive. Best dining experience ever.

This completely exceeded all expectations! It was an absolutely incredible experience that invigorated all the senses, way above even food! We came here for my 30th golden birthday, and everything from the ambiance, food, decor, and seating was off the charts. I guess I just assumed the service would be amazing, older, dry and stiff..the staff is all around my age, rocking their tattoos and piercings, fun and so much fun!
