Dr. Golbin is always kind and never fails to listen to what I have to say. If I find I don't like a certain medication, he always tries to find a better one for me. I have him to thank for overcoming my depression.
Dr. Golbin is very nice but I was not able to get help from him for my depression. I think he was convinced that my condition was caused mainly by a sleep disorder but after months of treatment I'm starting to think he's wrong. Unfortunately I'm seeking yet another opinion which is a shame because I'm in a pretty big debt to Dr. Golbin's office. Insurance doesn't cover experimental and alternative medicines, after all! For sleep problems very good, for regular therapy&other isses, very poor, find someone else!
I flew to Chicago from Boston, where doctors here have been unable to help my sleep problems. The doctor is a good listener and very concerned. Dr. Golbin uses science with a dose of common sense, and maybe a bit of Russian folk medicine. He takes the time to understand and explain. Getting appointments was quite easy and the cost was reasonable, as I pay my own way. He was helpful and I recommend him.
Fear no more! Having struggled my entire life to figure out why my life was in constant chaos, I sought help actively but to little avail. Now at 72 years old, I find Dr. Golbin and his staff. Dr. Golbin LISTENED to me. He then thanked ME. He assigned the next steps in what he called a plan to help me. Dr. Reynish after tests gave me a summary of his findings which rang so true to my self-appraisal and astounded me with his expertise. Dr. Golbim is an extraordinary doctor. Rather than focusing strictly on emotional symptoms as would a typical psychiatrist, Dr. Golbim prefers a holistic approach. He takes into consideration all aspects of your anatomy and lifestyle and how they can have an impact upon you psyche. He has opened my eyes to many ways that I can improve my life through altering my perspectives. He is truly brilliant.
Dr. Golbin is a very dedicated, caring, compassionate doctor who gets to know his patients through substantial time spent with each patient during an appointment. Dr. Golbin was able to quickly diagnose a problem with my son for which I had been searching for an answer for years. He is now helping my son tremendously. I have nothing but respect for Dr. Golbin. The problem is his staff and I believe it stems from the Office Manager whom I think may be his wife. She was disrespectful and I believe that her attitude has given the receptionist I spoke with the green light to also be disrespectful. I feel that unless he finds new staff, he will lose a lot of patients. I will no longer be his patient due to this treatment and it is a shame because Dr. Golbin is wonderful. Staff is excellent. The office is always very clean and comfortable Doctor is great, listens and is attentive.
