Dr.Vaccaro removed a cist and fused my L4 and L5. When I left 4 days later I could still not urinate on my own. A week later after seeing my urologist who did nothing, on the drive home I called and complained to Vaccaro's nurse that I had numbness in my saddle. I could still not urinate on my own. She told me to immediately go to the emergency room which I did (Paoli) and sure enough I had an infection at the surgical site that caused an abscess.
