I found doctor to be very thorough. He had read my chart and looked at prior testing before seeing me. He was very professional. Definitely would recommend him to my family and friends. My second visit was to review test results. Doctor spent a hour going over my test results, answering my questions and explaining the problem with my lumbar spine. He was very thorough in his explanation and actually showed me what the procedure would look like. I’m scheduled for surgery next month. I feel very confident he can help me.

I came to see Dr. Matos for a severely compressed spinal cord. He performed a discectomy with fusion at my c-5 and c-6. From meeting with him at the consult, throughout the surgery and recovery Dr. Matos was fantastic. He spent 1 and 1/2 hours for the consult with me. Surgery was a success. He was even in the recovery room when I woke up. Everything about him is professional, compassionate. I have been so very impressed!
