Front office closed at night. Was told a lot of things before showing up, but they no longer do them. No air conditioning in the stairs walking to the room, and no A/C in the bathroom, just in the rooms themselves.

Zwiespältige Erfahrung. Zum einen liebevoll gestaltete saubere Zimmer in einem historischen Gebäude. Freundlicher Service und fußläufig zu allem in old Town Key West. Zum anderen keine Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel. Rechnen sie damit in der Nähe im Parkhaus parken zu müssen mit zusätzlichen Kosten. Frühstück eher ein Snack zum Mitnehmen aufs Zimmer. Im Zimmer kein Tisch oder Stuhl. Aber was mich persönlich von einer weiteren Buchung abhalten wird ist eine Art Resort Fee die erhobenen wird ohne das man vorher darüber informiert ... read more

Fitch Lodge in Key West Unser Aufenthalt in der Fitch Lodge – Teil der Key West Historic Inns – war eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Lesson 1: don’t book through a third party. Lesson 2: don’t stay at the Fitch Lodge. Very disappointed. The place is ok. Rooms are small, but not terrible. We booked our reservation through booking.com, paid in full in advanced. When we arrived at the property we were told there was a 50$ per night fee for amenities (adding to 200 in our case). We explained that our reservation explicitly said “all amenities and fees included in this price, nothing to pay at the property”. They kept changing the concept of the 200$, initiall... read more

It’s hard to find a good dog friendly hotel. We were very pleased with Fitch Lodge. It’s an easy walk to the Historic Wharf. The rooms are very clean and stylish. Our room 34 was very private in the back of the building with its own private walkway and a nice outside cafe table and chairs. It’s an old building as are most in Key West so they need to use wall AC units. There is a small pool and patio which was lovely for the families but we did not use it.
