Loved our time at Albert’s in the Bear Den Cottage. Waking up to those views was amazing! Impeccably clean and super friendly owner. Definitely recommend!
The owners are very nice!!! The motel is a bit campy and could use some updates, however, I recommend it if you don’t require 5 star amenities. It’s clean and cozy. Good WiFi and lots of channels on the TV.

Beautiful area, near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Spent a few nights there last week. Roughly a half hr drive south to Mt Mitchell, 1 hr north to Grandfather Mountain. I will be back!
I had a great time on a father son trip here with my Dad. The place is centrally located to Mt Mitchell and plenty of outdoor adventure.
The view! The owners! The room! The area! Can’t beat any of them. Alberts is my home away from home. Can’t wait to go back!
