🚮🚮 Just trash!!! Rates are ridiculous. You would think in the event of a natural disaster where you're left without the use of their service (electricity) for weeks, your bill would be lower...but no, they bill you anyway according to what you "would have consumed" if you'd had power!! Aside from that foolishness, they don't work with customers who may need extensions or who have suffered hardship. Customer service is a joke but less funny. Just trash and you have no choice but to use them....
This company is horrible. We are stiiiiiilll without power after the storm. We had downed power lines and damage to meter on home. We were told there is a pending work order and the crew would be out today. Still no "crew". I was told someone would call us back...still no call back...I was also hung up on by someone answering phones in the power outage dpt.
STOP OVER CHARGING CUSTOMERS AND COVERING UP FEES
Stop making your customer service call system deliberately impossible for customers to get through. And train your employees NOT TO HANG UP ON CUSTOMERS. I'd understand if someone was cussing at you, but when a person is being civilized and your employee starts throwing attitude and hanging up on us? THAT IS NOT HOW YOU DO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Things like this are why so many people hate Albany so much.
This is the worst electric company I have ever had and it’s sad they treat their consumers this way. If you plan to move to Albany research the electric company before you move if it’s not Georgia Power don’t do it. They over charge and are slow with fixing the issues. But of course they expect you to pay on time and barely give you a grace period.
Get out of the business of providing electricity. Georgia Power is much more efficient and less expensive.
Outrageous prices. I'm from a big city up north and have never paid this much for utilities in my life!!!
Outrageous rates, dated tech, slow response time, horrible customer service, recommend not moving into the area. #dying city
