72 hours response time to call me back just to schedule an apt. really.
The response time here is very slow, if you call in for help or are having an issue that may require temporary meds the wait is crazy! I have a follow up with dr samuels today , and I have a lot to say, about the response time and iam at the point where nothing is working for me and thinking I may have to go out on disability, but I have the feelilng he will not listen to me, prayers needed.
It is sad to have to tolerate the schedulers at this office. Once you actually get in to see a doctor, they are kind and understanding, but I have 47 years experience with answering a health care phone, and my butt would have been fired the first day if I acted the way these people do. Try NOT to get Millie as your scheduler. She has what is called an "attitude". I'm thinking about changing physicians because of her...and others like her.
I needed to reschedule a colonoscopy that my oncologist scheduled for me with out consulting with me. Four times I call these guys trying to reschedule and four times I am put on hold without talking to a human for 3-4 minutes. I haven't had a secretary in years and it's an imposition for me to put a phone on a speaker for minutes on end, as it bothers others in the house. This outfit needs to sharpen up its people skills and office etiquette.
Called after a trip to the ER and begged for an appointment. No sympathy, just a 'who cares' attitude - hell, she even managed to hang up on me - and no appointment. Nice way to treat people. Don't waste your time with these clowns.
Worst experience ever. I went for help and got 2 prescriptions with a rude see you later. Next day ended up in the emergency room. The doctor in the ER told me my diverticulitis infection spread to my bladder and appendix. Had a 6 day stay at St. Peters Hospital where they took care of me.
My primary care office recently booked me for an endoscopy, and Albany Gastro even gave me pre-procedure instructions over the phone the day before. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to find out from the doctor that I wasn't there for an endoscopy (after having nothing to eat for 14+ hours) but for an office visit. And the snarky office manager called me today to tell me that since I technically saw a doctor (just long enough to find out they'd booked me for the wrong type of appointment) they will be charging me for the vi... read more
Dr. Clift is the man, great doctor. I travel out of my area to see him, don't have faith in the local doctors. Sorry!
