Despite the fact that this business is a preferred provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and despite the fact that I was told by my insurance they should only be charging me for an office visit copay they tried to charge me in full and upfront for treatment. Hopefully BCBS quits contracting with you. Walked into another urgent care and am already being treated for my correct $25 copay. A waste of two hours. I guess they did try to help me out by offering a cash payment plan which would be helpful if I don't have full coverage ... read more

They were very nice and it didn't take long at all
The doctor on duty refused to see my husband during regular posted working hours. He closed the clinic early for a personal engagement even though we had been told on the phone that, as long as we checked in by 8:30, we would be seen. At 8:20 PM, the doctor asked if my husband had been seen at Alpine before, and when told no, he became dismissive, waved him off, and left. So much for a BCBS preferred provider!!
This place is wonderful. Any time I've been there I have been seen promptly. The staff are very warm and make you feel at ease. I have seen all the doctors here on one occasion or another and every time I knew I was in amazing, capable hands. If you find yourself needing urgent care, I highly recommend Alpine Urgent Care!
These guys are awesome!! Our whole family has been there on several occasions. The front desk staff are kind and curteous, and the medical staff are knowledgable, personable and thorough. Every experience there has been a good one. If you need urgent care, there is no place better in Anchorage!!
