Went to alpine for rapid test and they lied and said insurance doesn’t cover test when insurance said they do alpine said they don’t and are extorting people who want a rapid test went to first care in Huffman and insurance covered the test there
I took my son (3) to Alpine Urgent Care on March 8, 2020 as he needed two stitches which he received. I have Aetna insurance but was asked to pay over $600 out of pocket because it was a Sunday and my insurance couldn’t be verified. This was ok, and I paid it. On April 6, 2020, my insurance paid Alpine $531.00. I was contacted April 16, 2020 by their billing department stating that I was to receive the $531.00 refund by mail. Sat here for sure well over an hour and there was only one person in front of me - i realize it’s Sunday but geeze - I’m going somewhere else tomorrow
This company is blatantly practicing insurance fraud. Billed our insurance for over a thousand dollars because they pricked my husbands nail with a needle and coded it as surgery. When he called them to find out why we’re getting another $200 bill AFTER that for literally nothing he was told word for word that since the doctor touched him they were free to bill him for WHATEVER they want. Should have listened to the reviews.
