RecommendedJim and Elaine did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning no matter what time we had to leave (even of it was 2:00AM) for our trip. They bent over backwards to make sure we had a variety of trips and had to rearrange due to the AK fish and Wildlife shutting down the King season on the rivers early. If I could tell you to look at one place for your sport fishing experience, look no further than Alaska Denise Lake Lodge. I will be back.
Everything was great. It was great having our fishing trips set up in the changing kenia area. We caught fish and spent time with some great and entertaining fishing guides. The lodge is very relaxing and the food is the best. I have to thank Chef Matt for preparing our salmon to perfection. Even the lunches they packed for fishing trips above and beyond. The fly in fishing with the bears was by far the most impressive trip of the week, which I have to add was perfect weather.
We would like to thank Jim and Elaine for making our Alaskan Fishing adventure a fabulous experience. The cabin was great plenty of room for the 4 of us. The lodge and lake were beautiful. We saw Brrown Bears some with cubs, numerous moose, bald eagles, seals, and even a wolverine. As for the fishing, we couldn't have had a better experience. My son Bobby and I had a fantastic time with Jim and Elaine at Denise Lake Lodge. I took my son here for a graduation present from Mary Washington University and we were not disappointed. The accommodations were first class, Matt, the cook made us exceptional meals, we saw Moose, Bald Eagles, Bears and Seals. The fly in trip was just amazing. My husband and I wanted to stay forever!! Jim and Elaine are the best!! The staff are amazing and they made us feel like we had known them forever. I would highly recommend Denise Lake Lodge!! We will be back soon!!

Best experience EVER! My husband and I took our two young children, 6 and 7 years old, and I can't say enough wonderful words to express my feelings for this place. From the cozy lodge, comfortable cabin, views, people, EVERYTHING! Big Jim and Elaine are so knowledgable and really tailored our fishing trips to best fit our family. The food was amazing, I really enjoyed myself all the excursions were great.
It was my buck list of thinking to do and now i had to put it back on because I had such a great time.
