I cannot say I cannot say enough great things about this place. I just visited Alaska for my spring break- not the wisest choice since there isn't too much to do in Anchorage when everything is covered with snow and you don't have a car! However, my stay at the Alaska backpackers Inn made it all worthwhile. The price was terrific, especially for the best service I have ever received. This was my first time staying at a hostel and first time staying anywhere on my own. At all times I felt completely safe and taken care of.
I thought this "I thought this was a good hostel. The owner was incredibly helpful and accommodated every request. They even carried my luggage.

I lived here I lived here for a winter it was pretty cool,close to downtown and the polar bar! Oh, the good times had by all!!!

Wonderful I had a wonderful time I would so stay there again you can not beat the price anywhere else. I will be coming back.
A year ago I needed a room for only one nite in July, 2013, and didn't think twice about calling ABI.I had the same room as a year ago and the same comfort as a year ago thanks.
